Cook Plant Manager

Job Description

Manage the overall manufacturing occurring at the Farmerville CookPlant, including maintenance to meet or exceed standards and goals.

Develop and motivate management personnel to meet the current and future needs of the CompanyEnsure department compliance with Company policies and laws and regulations which include USDA, SSOP and HACCP programs and all OSHA required safety programs.Ensure proper maintenance of Company assets; make recommendations for acquiring necessary items to support business objectives.Coordinate weekly and monthly production requirements with product management and plant scheduling departments to ensure customer service levels are met as productively as possible.Ensure program development that is consistent with Company goals and objectives.

Provide overall direction and supervision of the CookPlant, at the Farmerville facility. To meet department and company goals on safety, HACCP, food safety, quality, productivity, customer service, yield, cost.

Qualifications

Minimum 8-10 years progressively responsible experience in operational management sytems, preferably in the food industry.Extensive knowledge of data processing systems and terminology as they relate to warehousing.Demonstrated organizational and leadership skills.Good English communication skills (written and verbal).Prior budget preparation and staffing analysis experience.BA in Business Administration or similar field or equivalent experience
