Responsibility – Management of, and support of proactive sales and business development in North America for, the Field Services group.

Basic Management Tasks:

  1. Responsible for day-to-day supervision and problem resolution within the national operations.
  2. Manages partnerships with a goal of developing business outside of our regions.
  3. Serve as primary customer liaison for relevant operations.
  4. Assures team is following procedures.
  5. Assures team is using company-issued technology (phones, hotspots, computers) efficiently and effectively.
  6. Assist with development and training of staff.
  7. Empowers the team.
  8. Collect and maintain department metrics.
  9. Participate in recruiting new staff.
  10. Perform time sheet review and release.
  11. Perform billing review and release.
  12. Timely and accurate review of expense reports.
  13. Assists with relevant laboratory audits.
  14. Assist in developing and implementing field service processes, procedures and documentation.
  15. Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 2 year technical degree or relevant experience
  • 3 or more years performing field evaluations and labeling to US and Canadian safety standards, including NFPA 790/791. Knowledge of NFPA 70 is also required.
  • 3 or more years managing a team of engineers performing field evaluations and labeling.
  • Ability to manage P&L and support business development through team growth, scope expansion and participation in industry forums.
  • Flexibility to travel and, as necessary, perform Field Evaluations.

· This position reports directly to the Director, Safety and Field Services and/or the CEO
