Job Description

- Responsible for day-to-day supervision and problem resolution within the national operations.
- Manages partnerships with a goal of developing business outside of our regions.
- Serve as primary customer liaison for relevant operations.
- Assures team is following procedures.
- Assures team is using company-issued technology (phones, hotspots, computers) efficiently and effectively.
- Assist with development and training of staff.
- Empowers the team.
- Collect and maintain department metrics.
- Participate in recruiting new staff.
- Perform time sheet review and release.
- Perform billing review and release.
- Timely and accurate review of expense reports.
- Assists with relevant laboratory audits.
- Assist in developing and implementing field service processes, procedures and documentation.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Qualifications:- 2 year technical degree or relevant experience
- 3 or more years performing field evaluations and labeling to US and Canadian safety standards, including NFPA 790/791. Knowledge of NFPA 70 is also required.
- 3 or more years managing a team of engineers performing field evaluations and labeling.
- Ability to manage P&L and support business development through team growth, scope expansion and participation in industry forums.
- Flexibility to travel and, as necessary, perform Field Evaluations.
· This position reports directly to the Director, Safety and Field Services and/or the CEO
