Job Description
The role of a CAREGiver can vary from day to day, but it will always be a very rewarding one.You will provide our clients with help and support so they can continue to live happily and safely in their own homes for as long as possible, such as:
- Companionship
- Meal preparation
- Keeping their house safe and clean
- Administering or prompting medication
- Taking them shopping or to appointments
- Support with morning routine i.e. bathing and dressing
- Support with evening routinei.e. Preparing for bed
Qualifications
What Are We Looking For?We are looking for kind and compassionate CAREGivers to support our clients to remain independent in their homes. You must be trustworthy, respectful and reliable, and someone who really wants to make a difference to someone’s life.
Previous experience in Care and an NVQ/QCF level 2 or above (or an equivalent qualification) is desirable but not essential.
If you can commit to 5pm-9pm each week, are able to work alternate weekends and have access to a reliable means of transport (some of our clients live in rural areas and need help getting out and about)we’d love to have a chat and get you on board.
