wikiHow is seeking a talented, ambitious, college-educated writer to help us create engaging instructional content in the technology, digital apps, and tech world. As a remote, part-time writer for wikiHow, you will work with our team to create immersive, impactful learning experiences about up and coming technology. You’ll collaborate with a Project Manager to develop new styles of educational content that go beyond traditional “How-to” guides.

If you’re a tech-forward thinker, skilled writer and a motivated self-starter, this might be the position for you! This remote position is for a part-time 20-hour work week during regular business hours. Though the work is remote, we will always support your writing with thoughtful review and individual help as needed.

This role is unique because you will:

Create informative and innovative articles on new and exciting tech topics

Write crisp, clean, captivating learning materials in a fast-paced and supportive environment

Work with diverse teams to create engaging, delightful instructional content

Connect with readers by writing in a conversational, friendly, empathetic tone

Combine research skills with hands-on testing to ensure that we’re providing our readers with the most accurate and relevant information availableYou are right for this job if you have:

A passion for new technologies and digital applications

Experience with iOS, Android, Windows and Mac Devices

Ability to write great content that people want to read

Curiosity and a desire to share new learnings with a diverse audience

Commitment to both the big picture and the details in your writing

Motivation and drive to work independently

Eagerness for constructive feedback

Degree, preferably in English, Creative Writing, or another writing-intensive field
