Production Scheduler/AnalystAlliance Printing (AP) is seeking a Production Scheduler/Analyst. This position is responsible for reviewing forecasts and current orders and developing production schedules based upon hours available (machine and labor) across multiple shifts and departments.

Responsibilities:
  • Develops production schedules based on customer orders and delivery requirements and current work load across impacted departments.
  • Proactively communicates the status of projects with appropriate personnel (Project Manager, Production Manager, etc.) to assure potential issues are effectively communicated and handled in a timely manner.
  • Through the thorough analysis of data, identifies trends, both positive and negative, and reviews findings and recommendations with those impacted.
  • Coordinates with purchasing team to assure materials for production arrive when needed to meet deadlines.
  • Conducts time studies across departments to aid in the scheduling of future orders.
  • Tracks the flow of materials through production.
  • Adjusts planned production schedules as necessary in order to assure items ship in a timely manner.
  • Reviews status and recommends use or disposition of aged, slow moving, or obsolete materials.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of relevant experience with a manufacturer.
  • Self-motivated flexible team-player, with a service oriented mind set and the persistence to following through on commitments in a timely manner.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and ERP systems.
  • Strong PC skills with above average proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Operates at a high level of professionalism, reliability, punctuality, and awareness
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to utilize the tact and diplomacy required to foster a team environment while keeping task on schedule.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, deadline driven environment, as well as a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Works with minimal supervision, and effectively communicates to their supervisor and challenges or concerns.
