The Role: As part of the dynamic, core product management team focused on datacenter compute across VMs and Containers, we are seeking a motivated, technology product management intern. The intern role will focus on a research area(s) related to virtualization. Experience in datacenters, deep technology, or DevOps, paired with a strong work ethic and motivation to dig into complex topics is essential for success. The team is located around the world, but concentrated in San Jose, California. Requirements:- Product management experience is highly preferred, but not required.
- Product Management coursework highly preferred (university, MOOC, online, etc.)
- Strong writing skills and ability to clearly convey messaging
- Demonstrable projects or products which incorporate vision, prioritization, technical solutions, and end-consumers a plus
- Comfortable working with people across teams, organizations, and geographies
- Some experience with software release processes (waterfall, Agile, Scrum, etc.) and associated assets generation (PRDs, MRDs, user stories).
- Attention to detail
- 1-2 years of experience; preferably in a technical product field
- High energy and excellent teamwork skills
- BS in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, Design, or related field
- MBA student preferred
