We are currently seeking a Software QA Engineer Intern to join the Lucid Motors team for the summer. As an intern, you will work within the Infotainment team to manually test new and legacy UI features, help automate testing and implement new tests. Our ideal intern exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. The Role:

    • Drive validation of high quality, high performance, and production-ready software
    • Utilize Agile development methodology and know when to get out of the way
    • Ensure quality from low-level software to the end applications
    • Validate software in simulation and on vehicle
    • Test and release in alignment with vehicle integration, ensuring quality at the vehicle level
    • Design, maintain and execute automated tests - including functional, system integration, regression, performance, and API testing.
Qualifications:
    • Currently working towards a Bachelors, Masters, advanced degree, or entry level within the last year from an Engineering program
    • Demonstrate a good understanding of software fundamentals
    • Demonstrate a strong understanding of testing concepts including white box and black box testing, regression testing, performance testing, etc.
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Excellent communication and written skills
    • Experience with Linux and/or Python is preferred
