Parttime Food Truck Worker

Want to join the glamorous world of food trucks? Travel the state and beyond? This is your chance! We’re seeking dependable, trainable staff for approximately 10-15 hours per week in the spring and 20-30 hours per week in the summer. Casual and fun work environment. No uniform. Free beer!

MUST ADHERE TO COVID19 SAFETY PRACTICES AND BE VACCINATED OR INTEND TO BE VACCINATED WHEN ELIGIBLE

Responsibilities:

- Food prep

- Assembling dishes quickly, efficiently, and accurately

- Cleaning kitchen space and washing dishes

- May be asked to lift up to 50lbs

- Occasional order-taking

Qualifications:

- Sense of humor

- Kitchen experience a plus

- Punctuality

- Able to adapt to a fast-changing environment

- Flexible schedule – hours are different week to week with both lunch and dinner shifts

- Reliable transportation at least to west side of Providence

- Team player

- Can work in a tight work space in a variety of weather conditions

- Able to stand for several hours at a time

- Comfortable interacting with the public

- Love of pets is a plus

We tacofy your favorite dishes – chicken parm, BBQ, spring rolls, hamburgers, etc. – putting them all in tortillas. We also offer potato chips and sodas all made from scratch with many ingredients sourced locally. We work at a lot of breweries and other venues and pick up private events whenever possible.
