JOB SUMMARY:
Provides administrative support in addition to typing, filing, and scheduling. Performs duties such as obtaining office supplies, and assembles highly confidential and sensitive information. Deals with a diverse group of important external callers and visitors as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize diversified workload.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Answer multiple phone lines and take messages.
Process and maintain purchase orders and logs.
Schedule appointments and interviews.
Respond to regularly occurring requests for personnel information.
Maintain inventory of office supplies; maintain adequate stock levels of supplies.
Accept deliveries of mail and incoming supplies; route mail to appropriate person; stock or distribute supplies accordingly.
Type and design general correspondences, memos, charts, tables, spreadsheets; proofread for spelling and grammar.
Provide general support to visitors.
Operate copier machine.
Assist HR department as needed.
All other general administrative duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Knowledge of basic Human Resources functions
1 to 2 years of administrative experience
