Agile Coach | Digital Business Transformation

As an Agile Coach, you will enable and lead transformational projects. You are a hands-on practitioner making sure that we build the right thing as much as building it right. You will bring together world class, multi-disciplinary teams that develop exceptional work to deliver both the client’s business objectives, and meet the needs of the digitally savvy, discerning consumer. You are the catalyst for these teams making sure they are able to deliver exceptional work.

You have both breadth and depth to lead large multi-disciplinary teams and enterprise level engagements within digital transformation. You are tactical and detail oriented and also able to step back and consider the strategic landscape. You can also operate in an advisory role around Agile operating models and best practice. You will manage complex, multi-track projects by balancing scope, risk, time, cost and quality while maintaining a positive environment that promotes high performance standards and a positive work culture.

You will build intimate and trusted relationships to make sure our clients know we are here to make them successful. Through a learning and optimizing mindset, a culture of problem solving, and grit, you help clients understand how their business will be transformed by agile.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure successful roll-out of new agile operating model across our clients’ organisation. You’ll structure and manage large multi-team and multi-track programs of work.
  • Working with business teams and agile coaches to implement new agile process, practices and behaviours. You’ll expertly identify process and capability gaps while developing and piloting solutions.
  • Oversee and drive the development of deliverables of the highest quality and impact. Set and manage KPI’s.
  • Create value stream maps at a train level to understand the current flow, wastes and define a future target state.
  • Driving the co-design of an uplifted, three sizes readiness process and uplifting the outcomes of key collaboration and planning events
  • Assisting with the piloting, rolling out and scaling of a new “inception” process
  • Assisting with the uplift of visual systems and flow of work used to drive a more frequent planning cadence
  • Driving the co-creation of new measures and instrumentation
  • Partnering to uplift and accelerate the engineering capabilities and release processes and injecting a test & learn capability
  • Establish and maintain processes to manage scope over the project lifecycle
  • Ensure seamless program communications via status reporting, Jira and confluence skills and relationship management
  • Responsible for ongoing client satisfaction. Manage client relationships (expectations, communications, negotiations, escalation, feedback, etc.). Develop relationships with, and ensures the appropriate participation of, key client stakeholders and client executives

Qualifications

  • At least 7 years agile delivery experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach, you have a record in successfully delivering enterprise level technology solutions. You are likely to have a background in consulting, digital, marketing technology, or a unique combination of these disciplines.
  • Ability to work closely with business and technical people to develop and perform activities allowing the development of Agile skills, the improvement of processes and, ultimately, self-sufficiency in Agile approaches.
  • Strong leadership/relationship building skills. Using your exceptional influencing skills you know how to make your team and your client accountable
  • Comfortable with internal leadership across 2+ cross functional scrum teams. External (client) leadership helpful.
  • Skilled in facilitating meetings, driving decisions, and negotiating win/win solutions
  • Coach delivery teams to develop and create fast feedback loops with stakeholders
  • Experience with industry recognized agile frameworks (e.g. Scrum, SAFe, Kanban).
  • Like Publicis Sapient, you are both technologically and creatively driven
  • Comfort with strategy and consulting focussed engagements and able to effectively engage C- and senior level stakeholders to build trusted relationships
  • First class estimating and planning skills
  • Rigorous and detail orientated with complete focus on delivering products of the highest quality
