The

Auckland Cancer Society Research Centre(ACSRC) seeks to appoint an experienced Administrator for a full-time fixed term role for up to 12 months to cover parental leave. This is a level C position based in Graton Campus that would suit an applicant with excellent operational and organisational skills, a person that has strong communication experience both written and verbal with a desire to support a leading cancer research group.

The main purpose of the role will cover the following:

  • Office Management
  • Administrative Assistance to the Directors and Co-directors
  • Administrative support to Auckland Cancer Society Research Centre (ACSRC) staff and Students

This is a Band C role and salary range is from $41,000 - $50,300 full time per annum rate, depending on level of experience.

The team are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic person that has strong knowledge of office management, great with technology and can work both independently and successfully supporting a team.

Important Skills/ Experience| Nga Pūkenga Motuhake

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Finance Admin – raising PO and Receipting, managing a PCard and maintaining accuracy.
  • Strong ability to multi task with great attention to detail.
  • Reception duties.
  • Intermediate to advanced level in MS Office.
  • PA support – calendar and diary management.
  • Electronic filing.
  • Arranging travel and accommodation.
  • Assisting with documents and presentation documents.
  • Operational assistance to meet laboratory regulatory compliance.
