LPG Cylinder Tester

Job Description

You will assist with testing and repairing LPG cylinders for our branches and franchises to meet the NZ Cylinder testing standards and with refurbishing cylinders for resale. Other responsibilities of the job will include:

• Maintaining cylinder testing records
• Assisting with testing and maintenance of laboratory tools and equipment
• Assisting in other areas or sites as required
• Covering for the Cylinder Test Manager as required

It’s a pretty physical job as you’ll be moving cylinders around the site. We’re big on health and safety here at Rockgas, so you’ll need to do all this while maintaining a safe work environment.

Qualifications

To be successful in securing this role you’ll need to have:

• While an IANZ Certified Cylinder Tester Certificate and previous testing experience is preferred we are prepared to train the right person.
• Good administration and PC skills
• A good level of physical fitness
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to working as part of a team
• A strong work ethic, integrity and adaptability

The recruitment process for this role involves a medical check which includes a drug and alcohol test, and a criminal record check.
