A 12 Month Contract currently exists in our Sydney teamas a

Human Resources Advisorsupporting our leadersand operations in Western Sydney.

This is a fast paced role where your stakeholder group is a mixture of blue and white collar professionals. To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong influencing skills, resilience, and the desire to further grow and challenge your HR generalist skills. You will have support from a broader HR team and report into the Senior Human Resources Manager.

The role:

  • Providing advice and support to leaders on a range of industrial instruments and issues
  • Advising on workforce management matters includingmisconduct, performance, employment conditions and terminations
  • Undertake workplace investigations to assist in the resolution of grievances.
  • Support and coordinatecyclic people activities including performance reviews and succession planning
  • Assistthe HSE and Injury Management team
  • Assist the Talent Acquisition team with on the ground recruitment.
  • Supporting change managementforbusinesses and functions
  • Supporting our leaders and operational teams with best practice of our HRIS systems (Workday)

      Qualifications

      To be successful you will have:

      HR generalist experience within a fast paced operational environments

      • Good working knowledge in IR and ER capable of interpreting and advising on industrial instruments
      • Proven capability in managing grievances and investigations end to end with strong verbal and writing skills.
      • Proven business partnering with business leaders across workforce planningand change management
      • Well developed interpersonal skills capable of engagingand building trusted relationships
      • A values based approach with the ability to make sound evidence based decisions
      • Valid driving license and willingness to travel between depots in Western Sydney.
