Trimming Specialist to contribute to our

Lightning Source team in

LaVergne, TN just outside Nashville.

What You Need:

  • 1 YearTrimming Experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent

What You’ll Do:

  • Workto maximize up-time and capacity on the cutters by making sure that clamps are changed and setup correctly, based on workload and mix. Also, as needed, coordinate service and maintenance of equipment with the LSI maintenance department.
  • Guaranteethat Cutters are producing the highest quality product based on LSI’s quality standards and coordinates with shift supervisor and shipping department to properly setup the conveyor in order to deliver a consistent and constant flow of highest priority work.
  • Trainnew associates to ensure proper operational procedures are in place and being followed: clamp changes, cut stick changes, conveyor configuration, etc.
  • Stage/feedwork to the cutters, providing workflow, and movedamages and other priority work through the finishing process that is not self-directed in totes.
  • Coordinatewith supervisor/lead regarding break schedules and work emphasis.
  • Provideproper crossover technique with oncoming/incoming shifts regarding the finishing area: trash emptied/machines cleaned/ finishing floor area clean/work staged properly/operators logged in/out of equipment.
