Job Description
The Life Enrichment Director plans and coordinates a variety of activities, programs andevents to provide a vibrant and active community life for our residents. Some of these activities include:- Determine residentprogram preferences, talents, and needs through resident feedback, new resident orientation, resident council meetings, and communication with resident families.
- Plan daily and weekly programsto engage residents in the community to meet their social, physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
- Event planning for celebrations large and small (check out our Facebook page for examples:https://www.facebook.com/creeksideseniorliving)
- Works with sales team in planning programs and eventsthat encourage prospective residents to participate in community life and programs.
- Serves as an integral member ofthe executive team in leading and directing the community operations.
Qualifications
- College degree in related field, or certificate program.
- 2+ years of activity programming experience.
- 1+ years of leadership experience, in senior living preferred.
- A love for seniors!
- Highly organized and great time management skills
- Energetic, engaging, and caring personality
- Ability to connect with people
- Ability to come up with original and imaginative ideas for special events
- Fun and energetic personality - this is a must!
- Experienced event planner for group sizes ranging from 10-1000 people
