Job Description

Every role at Trove Brands is critical to our successful functioning as a whole. In this entry level role, the HR Assistant will play an integral part in supporting a small HR team in a growing company. The HR Assistant will be tasked with a wide variety of responsibilities including recruiting support, reporting, data entry, file maintenance, scheduling and other project-based tasks. Your specific responsibilities as a part of our team will include:

  1. Maintain all filing systems and data bases including data entry, standard filing and audits.
  2. Assist in new hire and exiting employee preparations, including coordinating paperwork, data entry, interdepartmental coordination, and desk set up.
  3. Work with HR team to create, update and maintain applicable recurring and one-time HR reports & metrics.
  4. Oversee employee recognition programs including innovating to keep programs current.
  5. Assist Company Recruiters with open positions and recruiting cycles as needed including posting jobs, screening resumes and performing phone interviews and assessments.
  6. Support Events committee by participating in day of event preparations, running errands, preparing documents and other similar tasks.

Support department by assisting with scheduling, filing and other curve balls as needed.

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will be very detail oriented, proactive, a problem solver and a team player.
  • Optimistic, highly motivated and flexible with the ability to multi-task, organize, prioritize and manage time effectively.
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, with a strong commitment to maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work/communicate with various groups of team members, strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance a must.
  • A minimum of a one-year commitment.
  • Prior HR or Admin experience a plus but not necessary.
  • Some college level coursework in Human Resources or related field a plus.
