Job Description
SUMMARY: This position provides project management for packaging equipment orders from order acknowledgement through execution and installation.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Primary responsibility for Horizontal Form Fill Seal (HFFS) packaging and other projects.
Overall responsibility for entire projects; communicating and providing clear understanding of the project objectives, schedules, and budget.
Proficient knowledge of current industry and/or company project management systems and applications.
Primary point of contact for the customer, as well as communications withthe internal project team.
Responsible for delivery of customer requirements and overall customer satisfaction.
Ability to lead others as well as provide subject matter expert advise in areas of responsibility.
Ability to effectively lead and work with customers ondesign/project review, questions, changes and communications.
Lead project planning, scheduling and execution.
Lead and motivate cross functional teams to support projects.
- Travel expectation: 15% (domestic and international)
Qualifications
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology and have at least 5+ years of experience working in a project management capacity in a highly technical environment, OR have at least 10+ years overall work experience in a highly technical manufacturingenvironment managing multiple projects simultaneously
Working knowledge of Automated Packaging, Capital Equipment and/or Engineering industry.
Proficiency with project management systems and applications.
Experience with form, fill, seal equipment.
Understanding of Six Sigma and Lean processes and procedures.
Ability to effectively mentor junior team members and others.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including MS Excel and Project.
Highly self-motivated, ability to lead and contribute in cross-functional teams by providing functional support and guidance.
Professionalism in accepting changing priorities and deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and resiliency when facing change,challenging situations, and ambiguity.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to partner with other functions and foster teamwork.
Commitment to representing the company in a professional manner and upholding company values.
