Warranty Repair Technician - Level 1

PS Audio is a great company to work for! The main responsibilities of the Electronics Warranty Repair position are to diagnose and repair defective PCBAs to component level, also to interface with the customer service, engineering, and operations teams.

Essential functions -

Ability to perform repairs using RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) system

Test, troubleshoot, and repair finished products

Create corrective actions as necessary to reduce field returns

Acquire and improve documentation for product repairs

Recommend improvements to repair lab procedures

Test and program PCBAs that are sent to world wide distributors for repairs

Hand soldering of surface mount components skills, are a must

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of electronic components and their specifications

Knowledge of electronic test equipment, both analog and digital

Excellent documentation and record keeping discipline

Ability to lift/move up to 95 lbs. occasionally

3-5 years working experience, necessary
