ALL SEASONS LANDSCAPING INC (“A.S.L.”) is a privately owned landscape construction corporation, continuously operating out of the Hartford, Connecticut, area since 1975. We are expanding our operations to include a Full Time Shop Supervisor/Mechanic. The ideal candidate must be capable of maintaining a clean and highly organized shop and yard as well as possessing excellent mechanical/troubleshooting skills
CANDIDATES MUST POSESS SKILLS TO PERFORM
o Shop & Yard
o Organize and maintain all equipment and stored goods in yard
o Consistently maintain a clean and organized garage
o Receive and record all deliveries
o Maintain equipment inventory/maintenance parts
o Mechanical
o Preventative maintenance
o Oil /Filter Changes
o Brake jobs (hydraulic systems)/(air brakes)
o Wiring (trailer lights / diagnosis / repairs), Plows, Strobes, Attachments Etc.
o Small Equipment Repair
o General Mechanical Diagnosis & Repair
o Field Repairs
o Basic Hydraulic Work
o Diesel Equipment Maintenance
o Welding
o PLUSES
o Formal Training and or Certifications
o Bodywork/Painting
EQUIPMENT REQUIRING MAINTENANCE & REPAIR:
o Small Gas Power Equipment
o Small Trailers
o Large Trailers w/Air Brakes
o Gas Pick-Up & Dump Trucks
o Large Diesel Trucks & Loaders
o Skid Steer Loaders & Attachments
o Plows & Sanders
REQUIRED CULTURE / CHARACTERISTICS
o Punctual, neat, organized, structured work approach (A MUST!)
o Ability to troubleshoot accurately & timely
o Unquestioned honesty, ethics, integrity
o Strong work-ethic
o Accurate record keeping and timely and neat submittal of daily paperwork.
o To be considered for this position, all applicants must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar work environment.
