We are a team of fully distributed remote engineers working on cutting edge technology to solve hard problems. Your experience working on a GraphQL API stack with Go on the backend and React on the front end is what we are looking for as we grow our team. You'll be writing testable, highly scalable code in response to the business needs of our clients. You've worked in the virtual environment, so you are accustomed to prioritizing work, collaborating with the team, and articulating your ideas from the comfort of your home office. What you'll be doing:

  • Collaborating with a team of engineers to design, build and support new features and enhance the existing platform
  • Concentrating on full-stack development using Go and React
  • Practicing sound DevOps and security methods so we deliver quality every time
  • Learning cutting edge technology, writing testable, highly scalable code that powers the solutions to the business needs of our clients
  • Striving for productivity through the use of Kanban and XP in the agile software development framework

Qualifications

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline
  • 3+ years of experience working in a remote team environment building enterprise-grade software
  • Advanced experience working with React and Go – or alternatively Scala, Erlang, Java
  • Comfortable with ElasticSearch
  • Exposure to Python/Django, MySQL, Postgres, AWS, NoSQL Database, Node.JS, GraphQL
  • Ability to troubleshoot across the entire stack with an intense curiosity – you love figuring things out
  • An organized professional capable of managing your time, tasks, and priorities without daily guidance
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate issues in a virtual environment
  • Confident humility; you know your stuff but enjoy brainstorming with others for the best outcome
  • Passionate about learning cutting edge technology and writing testable, highly scalable code
  • Available to work EST hours – it’s our standard
