One of our clients in Los Angeles area is looking for a Senior UI Developer with the following skills and experience: Looking for a strong technical UI developer working within a scrum team and leading other developers.In this position, you will be a part of the development scrum team responsible for creating and maintaining Next Generation products to support clients all over the world in an Agile environment. Put on your customer centric design thinking hat, ensuring development of features in the product are in line with the overall roadmap and vision.
EXPERIENCE YOU'LL NEED:6+ years of professional front end software development experience (not freelance / hobby experience)Solid understanding of fundamental programming conceptsSolid understanding of fundamental Javascript conceptsSolid understanding of testing concepts and experience using Jasmine, Jest, or similar BDD testing frameworkAngular 2+ experience using Typescript or ES2015+ (Angular JS 1.x, React, Vue JS a plus)Familiar with Web Components (Stencil, Polymer, Angular Elements)Familiar with HTML5, CSS3, and SASS or LESS, responsive designExperience building web applications that interface with enterprise backend systems via REST API's & Web SocketsExperience with reactive programming concepts and RxJSExperience with automated browser testing using Cypress, Protractor, Selenium, etcExperience facilitating code reviews, code quality checksExperience working with Product Owners to plan future work for the teamExperience collaborating with UX using Design SystemsEagerness to experiment with new technologies and innovative ways to solve problemsPassion for developing high quality, readable, well tested codeHOW YOU'LL STAND OUT:Experience with good aesthetic and usability design a big plusYou take pride in producing work that is effective and efficient, despite constraintsFamiliar with tax and accounting concepts a plusFamiliar with Functional programming & Software Design PatternsFamiliar with working in an Agile / SCRUM environmentFamiliar with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Artifactory)Must effectively collaborate with designers, developers, and other relevant team membersStrong communication, presentation and organization skillsMust be able to work independently, or in a team setting Interested candidates may submit their resumes online or call atfor further information regarding the position.Find Us on Facebook!Follow Us on Twitter!Beacon Hill is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values the strength diversity brings to the workplace.
