A globally known media company is hiring a Back-end Java Engineer in their Irvine, CA office. The engineering team is rapidly growing. They need a senior Java developer to come in and help them to build up a scalable service based software to support large data processing! For this role you will be working closely with Senior Engineers as well as spending some time mentoring Junior Engineers. If you enjoy working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment, this role is for you! Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years professional Java experience
- Experience using frameworks like Spring and Hibernate
- Experience with AWS is a BIG plus
- Experience with REST and SOAP web services
- MySQL/MongoDB database
- Any large scale development, consumer facing or enterprise experience is a big plus.
- BS/MS in CS or related degree
- Experience with Big Data tools is a plus
