Junior role.Responsibilities:Administer the daily performance and health of the assigned Fare Collection Systems. Provide technical assistance and support for the assigned Fare Collection Systems. Maintain and distribute record of daily system status, data communication transactions, problems and remedial action taken. Provide support to field technicians and local infrastructure (hardware, network, and application). Provide complete remote or on-site administration services including installation, configuration, maintenance, disaster recovery. Answer client configuration questions and assist with customer integrations.Interact with Development team to resolve system problems.On-call rotation; we offer 24x7x365 priority 1 (system down) support. Must be willing to be a part of a rotation weekend support coverage.Coordinate with development and QA team to ensure a smooth roll out of all software patches in a timely manner and monitor the system with the new software closely and report/resolve all issues found.Set up equipment and systems for tests like Factory Acceptance Tests and Pilot Tests.Qualifications:Technical BS degree and industry-related work experienceOrganized individual with the ability to analyze, debug, resolve, and document technical problems. Ability to prioritize multiple simultaneous support issuesMust be highly motivated and have strong problem solving abilityExcellent verbal and written communications skills a mustMust be able to work independently and as a team playerKnowledge in SQL, Python, and JavaKnowledge of network infrastructure and hands-on hardware & software about servers and workstations.Desired Skills:Shell scriptingOracle 12c Database knowledgeA minimum of 3-5 years of experience is required
