Business Analyst (Electronic Medical Record)

We are looking for

• This position is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and configuring projects related to the support of the Health and Behavior Solutions Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• This position serves as a member of the EMR Core Team staff, which includes Department employees from the Bureau of Health Services, the Bureau of Technology Management, the EMR Project Office, staff from the other program divisions, and the EMR private vendor.
• This position works closely with the BHS provider group to help identify areas of optimization and improved business processes for provider workflows within the EMR.
• This position will also execute the build and testing required for the delivery of effective EMR optimizations and upgrades.
• This position supports ancillary systems required for provider workflows, including private vendor dictation systems, and will work directly with multiple private vendors to troubleshoot as needed.

• Maintaining Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and/or vendor-managed software, performing activities such as maintenance, upgrades, and configurations.
• Communicating software configuration with external stakeholders.
• Working with external stakeholders to identify process improvements and optimizations.
• Working in government or correctional environment.
• Experience with HL7.
