Job Description

We are hiring a product manager of for Verisk’s Cyber Solutions suite of products. Our platform uses Verisk’s proprietary technology and deep data science expertise to deliver cybersecurity risk analytics and business intelligence to our customers in the cyber insurance industry.

We are looking for a candidate to help us answer the question: how can the industry evaluate cyber risk more comprehensively, quickly, and profitably?

Responsibilities:

Become the subject matter expert for cyber insurance underwriting and broking Inform product strategy and roadmap Conduct or coordinate technical, competitive and customer/stakeholder research to identify new product innovations, document needs, and contribute this understanding to develop the content & product roadmaps Lead cross-functional teams and/or efforts to create new or enhance existing cyber underwriting capabilities that address customer needs Drive product development across the software development lifecycle, including creating user stories and acceptance criteria Serve as the product SME on client engagements including demonstrating product capabilities, writing proposals, and onboarding new clients Collaborate with internal stakeholders on developing training materials, marketing, and customer facing presentations Provide industry thought leadership through drafting white papers and articles, webinars, presentations at conferences, and customer interactions

Qualifications

3+ years of experience specifically with cyber insurance or cyber risk assessment 3+ years of commercial insurance product development, consulting, underwriting, or brokerage experience Strong understanding of the convergence of cybersecurity, software, data, and consulting Excellent writing, speaking, and presentation skills Comfortable speaking in front of senior business leaders, but able to dive into the details of a challenging quantitative problem Strong critical thinking, analytical problem-solving and negotiating skills; business creativity is a must A bachelor’s degree Up to 25% travel or as per business requirements

Leading candidates will have some of the following:

Cybersecurity background demonstrated with certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, and CIPP Product management experience Familiarity with agile software development Experience in underwriting or closely working with underwriters on a day to day basis Familiarity with SQL A quantitative background with a focus on high-quality data and analytics An advanced degree Insurance designations such as RPLU or CPCU
