$1500 signing bonus, if leaving a job of three years to come to MCC

Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct product testing of raw materials
  • Preparation and active updating of Process Control Plans
  • SPC monitoring and CPK improvement
  • Problem resolution and customer communications
  • Technical assistance to other departments regarding quality issues
  • Audit to verify correct standards are being applied in production
  • Analyze data, looking for trends and developing solutions
  • Support calibration program
  • Assist production in the collection of process data
  • Maintain a safe working environment
  • Perform other duties and overtime as required

Job Requirements:
  • Ability to work a 12 hour rotation on night shift 6pm-6am
  • Printing industry experience preferred
  • Quality department experience in manufacturing - CQE or CQA preferred
  • Must have the ability to read prints and extensive knowledge of inspection techniques
  • Should have quality engineering background and exposure to quality management systems
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office software
  • Ability to multi-task, detail oriented, and work in a fast paced environment
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and planning skills
  • Bachelor Degree or an Associate Degree with 2+ years quality department experience OR
  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 3+ years quality department experience (CQE or CQA preferred)

PHYSICAL AND/OR MENTAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to:
  • Wear hearing, foot, eye and/or other personal protective equipment while in a manufacturing setting
  • Frequently use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and to write and type
  • Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, climb / balance, and reach with hands and arms
  • Frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and move up to 35 pounds
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, and sit.
  • Vision abilities include - close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to distinguish color variations, ability to adjust focus, ability to view a computer screen for extended periods.
  • Low to moderate noise environment in office areas, moderate to loud in manufacturing
  • Work flexible/varying schedules and hours as needed
  • Work overtime as required by workload and customer mandated deadlines
