Hi, Greeting from Conch Technologies Inc Job Title: Sr. Software Engineer (Audio Frameworks) Location : Freemont, CA 94538 Duration : 6 - 12 + months contract Job Type : Contract Remote : Yes - Temporarily due to COVID-19 Role: As a Software Engineer, you will develop and execute platforms and software for the emerging Smart audio/video product Feature implementation for Audio domain of the product Bug fixing and performance enhancement of existing features Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency Required Skills: 5+ years of professional software development experience Experience with developing audio/video processing or real-time communication applications Experience Android Audio Frameworks - Experience with ALSA Framework, Audioservice, Audiomanager, AudioFlinger, HAL, Binders, tinyALSA user, etc Experience of working on Qualcomm SoCs with Android OS Experience with Android build system Good knowledge/expertise in C and C programming Experience with multi-process environment and communication Knowledge of audio DSP fundamentals, experience with programmable DSPs used for system-on-chip solutions Good debugging skills Strong analytical, logical and reasoning skills Good communication skills and ability to work with a cross-functional and geographically diverse team Desirable Skills: Experience on Audio/Video Communication product development cycle.
