Our starting pay for this position is $16.00 with a potential $.50 increase after 30 and 90 day evaluations. New hires are paid a bonus after 30, 90 and 180 days’ worth a total of $500.

POSITION SUMMARY

Production of fiberglass parts to ensure they meet quality and efficiency standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

 Attendance report to work as scheduled without tardiness, leaving early or

absence, unless arranged for in advance with supervisor.

 Roll out air voids in parts after chopping. Parts should meet quality specifications within time allowed and in accordance with SOP.

 Check part for thickness and defect and take appropriate action. All parts must be defect free and meet thickness specifications.

 Correct defects in parts as needed.

 Move molds and parts as required. Perform this task in a safe, efficient manner.

 Supply Chopper Gun Operation with all materials required. Materials always available.

 Pop and pull parts when required. Perform this task in a timely manner with no damage to molds or parts.

 Wet trim parts. All excess material trimmed to trim edge with no damage to mold or part.

 Keep floor, benches and area clean and organized. Work areas to be neat and clean at all times, following all hazardous material disposal rules.

 Perform all duties in a safe manner. Follow all safety procedures and wear personal protective equipment as required at all times.

 Place part to laminate according to air flow current to meet safe operation of the gun.

 All other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School preferred or equivalent job knowledge and experience.

Prefer previous fiberglass experience or auto body.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

 Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

 Repetitive wrist/arm motion for extended periods of time.

 Good eyesight required for ability to see fine detail work.

 Perform work in awkward positions.

 Ability to wear respirator and protective eye wear.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT

 Large open manufacturing plant involving Fiberglass, plastics, and assembly.

 Manufacturing dust, equipment noise, and consistent forklift travel,

 Constant walking on cement.

 Various temperature levels indoors and out.

 Handling of various chemicals.
