Night Shift Sweeper Operator

Job Description

Immediate opening for Sweeper Driver/Helper in a growing parking lot sweeping and maintenance company that also performs various types of commercial building repair.

OVERVIEW: The Sweeper Operator / Helper will be willing to work varied days and hoursmainly nights, primarily on the sweeping side, beginning as a helper to the other drivers.

Starting salary is $14.00-$17.00 per hour DOE.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS: Ability to work during all seasons, in all conditions Walk several hours a night using a backpack blower Ability to lift 50+ pounds Able to climb into/onto sweeper several times a night (50-100) Must work well with others Ability to read, write and speak English fluently Must be able to follow written and verbal directions Must be proficient with technology (smart phone and tablet) Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen (random included) Must have valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Dependable and trustworthy Flexible in hours and days worked required

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED (AT LEAST 1 YEAR):LandscapingPower Sweeping

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:Parking lot striping and/or asphalt repairPainting

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:Valid US Driver’s License
