If you are an organized person with analytical and problem-solving skills, we are looking for you to become our new Safety Manager. If you are familiar with the manufacturing process with an experience in overseeing and ensuring that no dangerous procedures are being taken and make the adjustments necessary to ensure all employees are safe at all times, then you are a perfect fit to join our team

Job Responsibilities:

  • The primary responsibilities of this role are making sure that there is a safe working environment and culture by implementing and supporting safety policies and procedures in compliance with Local, State, and Federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations.
  • You will train the employees to understand OSHA regulations, and standards, train employees and managers in worksite safety practices, fire prevention, and correct handling techniques for chemicals, toxins, equipment, and other materials. Safety Manager also provides signs, posters, barriers, and other materials to warn of potential and actual safety hazards and to prevent access to hazardous conditions.
  • Also assist Workers’ Compensation Claim Manager with administration of workers' compensation program, including leading the investigation of accidents and injuries and cooperates in the preparation of material and evidence for organization use in hearings, lawsuits, and insurance investigations.

  • To be considered for this position we ask you to have a Bachelor’s degree in safety engineering, mechanical engineering, occupational safety or health, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years experience as safety professional in manufacturing organization with a strong focus on OSHA regulations and requirements, investigating workplace safety and worker’s compensation claims. This person should be willing to travel to our plant sites in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.

To be unique, you should have Professional certification, such as Certified Safety Professional.
