PROJECT MANAGER/BUSINESS ANALYST

$5691 - $6881 biweekly

Plus excellent benefits The Central Contra Costa Sanitary District (Central San) is recruiting for an experienced IT Project Manager / Business Analyst with a proven track record, to join our exceptional IT team. This position reports to the IT Manager and will work closely with staff across the organization to improve business processes and to manage the implementation of new business and operational applications. The initial focus will be on improving and further developing the recently implemented Oracle Cloud ERP system in the areas of Finance, Human Resources, Capital Projects, Procurements, and other related areas. In addition, the position will be involved in all aspects of technology implementation including involvement in our Technology Strategic Planning effort and resulting projects. Experience with Oracle is a plus but is not a requirement. Understanding of business processes and how to optimize how tools are used, as well as technological savvy will be critical in this role.

Qualifications: Education:Possession of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in management information systems, computer science, or a related field. Experience:Five (5) years of full-time experience in performing information technology/systems project management specific to the specialty area assigned which includes infrastructure or application implementation and integration projects.Substitution: Additional qualifying experience may substitute for the Bachelor's degree on a year for year basis. Licenses and Certifications:
  • Possession of a valid California Driver’s License.
  • Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid Project Management Professional (PMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP), or equivalent certification is desirable.
