Analyst - Tabware Data Warehouse

Apex is looking for an IT Analyst near Merrilville, IN. Tabware software is being upraded to a new database schema. The associated Tabware Data Warehouse will need to modfied to new database schema. This role will assist in performing the data warehouse modification work. Responsibilities - Support Corporate Finance/Procurement area primarily to supports the business functions of procurement, financial closing, financial inventory valuing, financial forecasting, financial business planning, and financial funding. - Creating a new Tabware Data Warehouse to support a new database schema due to a Tabware software upgrade. - Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server required. - Proficiency with the Microsoft BI Stack and Data Warehouse design (Kimball) will be developed through daily interactions with onsite experts and outside training where necessary.Minimum Requirements Have 3-5 years experience in systems analysis, converting user requirements into program changes, system testing, and installing programs into production along with break/fix responsibilities. Must have Financial application support experience (Billing/Invoicing & General Ledger Systems) preferably in the Steel Industry. • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Working knowledge of VB.NET; Microsoft SQL Server TSQL. • Working knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio and TFS • Experience coding complex object oriented programs (VB, C#, Java, C,.NET) • Demonstrated skills in organization, prioritization, time-management, and decision-making • Good oral & written communication skills • Proven leadership skills • Demonstrated ability to learn new skills/technologies readily Preferred Requirements Have 5-10+ years experience in systems analysis, converting user requirements into program changes, system testing, and installing programs into production along with break/fix responsibilities.
