Job Description

We are seeking anInplant Ink Technicianto work at our customer's site. The technician will serve as a liaison between INX and the customer and will be responsible for maintaining INX's on-site ink room. As an Inplant Tech you will be responsible to:

  • Maintain INX's excellent relationship with the customer
  • Perform technical service, color matching,ink production and dispensing ink
  • Control Work-off
  • Responsible for inventory management and monthly consignment counts
  • Provide press-side technical support
  • Complete monthly reports
  • Perform Quality Control tests on incoming and site-manufactured batches
  • Follow all safety requirements

Qualifications

To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:

  • Have a High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Be able to match colors effectively and pass a color vision test
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
  • Have excellent verbal, written, reading comprehension andmath skills
  • Demonstrate proficient with Microsoft Suite (MS Office) programs and other computer skills
  • Have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently
  • Have good organization skills
  • 2 to 5 years of work relatedexperience

In addition to these qualifications, we will consider as a plus if you have:

  • Spectrophotometer knowledge & experience helpful
  • Rotogravure ink knowledge
  • SAP Knowledge

Additional Information

Pay:

Starting rate is $20 an hour. Job related train will be provided.
