We are a Washington State based Marine Electrical firm located in Tacoma. We have projects in the Puget Sound area and abroad. Some locations work has been performed are: Washington, Oregon, California, Texas, Alaska, Massachusetts, and even Dubai and Japan. We are looking for someone with leadership skills and Project Manager capabilities to run projects throughout the U.S. Must be willing to travel and be away for long periods of time.
Job Duties Include:
Travel out of state and stay for long durations. (Per diem, lodging, and travel expenses will be provided)
Attend job walks (Locally, and out of State)
Review contract documents (confirm project scope & price)
Create and maintain project schedules
Create and compile project submittal packages
Attend jobsite meetings (weekly, pre-job meetings, etc.)
Owner/Customer correspondence (contract issues, change orders, etc.)
Project accounting tasks, including approving requested project invoices for payment
Creating change order scope and pricing
Track and record crew hours daily/weekly
Schedule internal deliverables for job site delivery
Send out PO requests
Coordinate sub-contractors during project execution
Provide review of plans and specifications and effectively communicate to field personnel
Complete project close-out packages
Ideal candidate should have:
Minimum 10 years of experience in the marine electrical trade
Minimum 5 years of experience in a project manager role
Experience and demonstrated ability to train and lead others in a supervisory role
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical one lines, etc.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs, Outlook, and other project management software
Ability to pass criminal background check
Ability to pass drug screening

Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive wages; Base DOE $80k - $100k (plus overtime)
