Quality Analyst Location: Remote (be ok to relo to Oakland, CA once work from home is lifted) Duration: 5 monthsKelly Technology is currently recruiting for a Quality Analyst. The ideal candidate will have with experience gathering requirements, documentation and testing claims systems . The Senior Quality Analyst will work along-side both business and technical team members to ensure the usability and functionality of products, services and systems. The role is responsible for analyzing requirements and issues for test case development and will execute and document all testing activities and results for new development, enhancements and issue resolution ensuring that the product and/or service meets the specified requirements. The role will interface with peer teams to identify, re-create and aid in the mitigation of any defects or anomalies found in the testing process; documenting all issues found in a defect tracking tool and reporting progress to management. Skills/Experience: Ability to capture business requirements on BRD, functional specifications and use case documents Ability to create User stories Reviews requirements and specifications to provide timely and meaningful feedback Creates detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases Estimates, prioritizes, plans and coordinates testing activities. Executes test cases and/or automation scripts and identifies and documents defects thoroughly. Manual claims segment testing and application level testing. Applies test standards and testing processes (i.e. SDLC, Agile) Collaborates with internal teams (i.e. developers, product managers, administrators) to identify new requirements to improve quality Investigates the causes of routine defects and implement new processes and/or solutions (i.e. software upgrade) Installs, configures and maintains testing programs Analyzes quality assurance metrics and creates test summary reports Creates reports and analyzes data to identify solutions that meet business goals Analyzes current processes and identifies existing or potential problems in order to discover new process improvement opportunities This list is not all-inclusive and you are expected to perform other duties as requested or assigned Required Skills: 1. Preferred MTV Claims Adjudication Testing experience Desired Skills: 1.Knowledge of industry standards, quality control techniques and procedures. 2. Excellent data analysis skills with strong problem solving ability 3. Knowledge of quality assurance and production technologies. 4. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
