As a member of the healthcare team here at Riverview Health, theBarista demonstrates active patient advocacy to ensure all rights are identified and met for every patient. TheBarista encompasses all duties relating to providing exemplary customer service at Riverview Health. Outstanding customer service skills and understanding of confidentiality and productivity are required by the Barista.
Barista Job Functions:
- Greet customers
- Mix and serve hot and coldbeverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, tea, blended fruit drinks, etc.
- May prepare and sell food items
- Arrange and stock bar/cart supplies
- Perform register duties and cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, organization and food handling techniques
- Must have physical ability to stand for long periods of timeand frequently push/pull and lift up to 35 pounds
Barista Job Requirements:
- Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum Experience: Some experience in the food industry
- Preferred Experience: 1-2 years of food service experience
