Q Analysts is seeking a talented
Technical Animator with expertise in crowd simulation development to support business operations for our client. In this role, you will be responsible for generating complex crowd simulation behaviors utilizing Golaem. You will also collaborate with project leads and partner teams to achieve specific looks, movements and styles that achieve the targeted goals of Microsoft's customers & scenarios. Responsibilities (including but not limited to):- Collaborate with customers throughout the course of a project to produce scenario-specific crowd behaviors
- Create custom simulations and behaviors that meet project requirements
- Help research, test, and implement new crowd simulation techniques that are unique to project content scale challenges
- Experience creating pipeline/workflow tools
- Design Golaem behavior graph templates that are highly geared towards re-usability and automation
- 2+ years’ experience with Golaem Crowd Simulation & leveraging Golaem in an enterprise setting
- Strong knowledge of industry standard techniques in Autodesk Maya
- Comfortable working in ambiguity, and capable of finding technical solutions to address unique customer data asks
- Experience leveraging programming or scripting skills (e.g. Mel, Python)
- Experience working with USD
- Experience with Rigging/Animation/MoCap
