Job Title: IT Continuity - Process Improvement ExpertLocation: Jersey City, NJ This contractor role will consist in: 1) Performing a maturity assessment of the CIB Americas Vendor Management process against Group and CIB IT Continuity requirements 2) Proposing and implementing improvement actions 3) Training staff involved in the Vendor Management process on IT Continuity requirements We are seeking a process improvement expert to review our practices in the management of IT Continuity risk for technology assets hosted at our third party service providers (e.g. communicating our continuity requirements, obtaining evidences of control, assessing and reporting IT continuity risk). The candidate must demonstrate experience in process improvement and in Vendor Management. He/she must have a good knowledge of IT Continuity and Cyber Resilience principles, like Disaster Recovery exercises, Continuity risk scenarios, Cyber resilience mechanisms, etc. The candidate must also have a good knowledge of financial market utilities in the USA and providers of Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions.

The mission will last until end of 2021. The role will consist in: 1) Performing a maturity assessment of the CIB Americas Vendor Management process against Group and CIB IT Continuity requirements 2) Proposing and implementing improvement actions 3) Training staff involved in the Vendor Management process on IT Continuity requirements. The objective is to make our process more efficient and upskill out staff involved with vendors. The candidate must demonstrate experience in process improvement and in Vendor Management. He/she must have a good knowledge of IT Continuity and Cyber Resilience principles, like Disaster Recovery exercises, Continuity risk scenarios, Cyber resilience mechanisms, etc. The candidate must also have a good knowledge of financial market utilities in the USA and providers of Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions. The candidate needs to have excellent organizational and time management skills. He/she must be comfortable with presenting to staff and managers alike. The candidate must demonstrate good leadership skills and be able to drive complex changes as well as training staff of various experience and knowledge.

Required Qualifications:
  • College degree in Computer science, Mathematics, Business or Finance
  • 10 years+ of relevant experience working in the Financial and Information Technology Industry
  • Expertise in Process Improvement and Vendor Management
  • Knowledge of IT Continuity principles and technologies
  • Proficiency in Sharepoint, Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written (French communication skills is a plus)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues and conflicts
  • Ability to work in autonomy and fulfilling tight deadlines
  • Ability to write and present meaningful status reports
