- Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware, and computer peripherals
- Documents, maintains, upgrades, or replaces hardware and software systems
- Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security, and systems groups
- Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders, and replaces parts as needed
- Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs
- Works under general supervision
- 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area required
- A+ Certification a plus!
- Knowledge of a variety of tech support concepts, practices, and procedures
- Must be able to perform hands-and-feet support for occasional networking and server tasks
- Must have break-fix experience
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude expected
- Ability to adapt to changes in the environment quickly while learning new processes
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stoop, kneel, walk, and stand
- Reliable transportation
- May require an Associate degree or equivalent
