Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Content Marketing Manager to join our growing network security marketing team. This is a terrific role for an experienced leader and strong writer who enjoys partnering directly with senior executives to create a platform that achieves strategic objectives. You will play a key role in building and executing an integrated executive communications and thought leadership program and drive strategy across a wide range of messaging platforms and channels including social media, blogs, and thought leadership materials. This role requires a deep understanding of current events and Palo Alto Networks business priorities with disciplined attention to ensure that we are telling our story in a way that excites and inspires our audiences.

Your Impact

  • Help develop and execute a coordinated executive communications strategy and plan that includes industry-leading thought leadership, blogs, bylined articles, videos and social media content.

  • Oversee an executive social media strategy, with focus on leveraging platforms to drive engagement across priority audiences and topics.

  • Work collaboratively with content, campaigns, corporate communications, creative team, security research and product marketing teams.

  • Own, maintain and enforce editorial guidelines.

  • Stay up to date on security content landscape to make content strategy recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Strong ability in storytelling, with editorial experience in short form articles and content that drive engagement and break down complex technical issues into digestible and relatable language.
  • Significant executive communications experience and results in a technical B2B industry. Cybersecurity experience a plus, but not required.

  • Experience in and passion for security and technical content.

  • Excellent editorial, communications and project management skills as well as exceptional attention to detail.

  • Strong executive presence that inspires trust and confidence.

  • Strategic thinker with a strong grasp on industry issues, current events and business trends.

  • Ability to work effectively with a variety of team members across different functions.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Driven, self-motivated, and always looking for ways to improve on our current marketing efforts.

  • Able to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
