Identity Access Management Analyst IIEssential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Maintains complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/ procedures/standards.
  • Keeps current knowledge of programs, application and operating systems supported by the department of Identify Access Management to include the management of and understanding of profiles and associated permissions.
  • Provision and de-Provision access for all systems, applications and operating systems supported by the department of Identify Access Management within a service level agreement of 72-hours.
  • Performs monthly and quarterly reviews of system users to ensure role-based access is enforced and that all system users are authorized and appropriately provisioned.
  • Provides excellent customer service to end users as needed to include owning and managing tasks to resolution.
  • Maintains a smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators .
  • Reviews and makes recommendations for current security policies and procedures to ensure their adequacy and effectiveness to maintain information security and protect systems from unauthorized use, acts of nature and user abuse in accordance with internal controls.
  • Works with internal and external auditors to fulfill requests regarding SOX, PCI and Gaming Control Board audits.
  • Troubleshoots and solves security problems reported by application users.
  • Supports security requests pertaining routine IT control audits and risk assessments.
  • Reacts to and initiates corrective action regarding security violations such as attempts to gain unauthorized access as directed by the Information Security Manager.
  • Stays current with technological developments in system security and recommends ways for the company to take advantage of new technologies and improve information security.
  • Adheres to the company’s status quo third party representation philosophy, complies with company policies, legal requirements and collective bargaining agreements.
  • Strong organizational skills, customer service focus, attention to detail, and process orientation
  • Ability to distill and present application security information to business community in non-technical terminology
The primary responsibility of the Identity Access Management Analyst – Level 2 is to support the Information Security team in processing system, application and network access requests. This position is subject to pre-scheduled rotational on-call periods (typically a week in duration) during which time this position will provide subject matter expertise to resolve user/system security issues. This position reports directly to the Information Security Manager.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 21 years of age.
  • Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Nevada Gaming Control Board Registration and any other certification or license, as required by law or policy.
  • 5 -7 years of relevant work experience or demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of applicable work experience.
  • 2 – 3 years of experience in provisioning and de-provisioning network and system access within a fast paced and demanding Information Technology environment.
  • 2+ years of experience with a variety of technology platforms ( i.e., iSeries, Wintel, VPN) is preferred.
  • Experience with system audit, profile review, internal and external regulatory controls to include PCI, SOX and Nevada Gaming Control Board is preferred.
  • Solid experience working with iSeries applications is desired.
  • Familiar with Role Based Access methodologies to include the application and implementation.
  • Experience in interfacing with end users to provide excellent customer service.
  • Requires a strong understanding of security controls in a Microsoft Windows environment to include operating systems, folders and share drive management.
  • Must be able to participate in new systems projects from an Information Security perspective.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify security issues and implement solutions.
  • Experience reviewing existing procedures and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Ability to work independently on special projects.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
  • Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
