Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, specialist Business Change Project Manager to join our Business Change team here at Turner & Townsend.

You’ll be bringing your business, people, behaviours, culture and process change experience to the team, business leaders and stakeholders, to facilitate the businesses to design and deliver internal business, digital and IT change programmes.

This role suits someone who is self-directed, resilient in dealing with resistance to change, has a passion for change and transformation and is keen to develop their experience in change management in a growing Global business. Needs to be able to work at multiple levels at the same time to define change strategy, plan, lead and deliver changes into the business.

The individual will be responsible for shaping, planning and delivering the change elements of major projects and programs.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with our Director – Business Change to shape, plan, facilitate and deliver lasting business readiness and change, including collaboration, communications and engagement.
  • Shaping, leading and delivering work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilisation of and proficiency with the changes that impact employees.
  • Creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximise employee adoption and usage and minimise resistance.
  • Identifying, defining and tracking the benefits, outcomes and measures required of programmes and the overall change portfolio.
  • Focus on the workforce/ people and process sides of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organisation structures, together with the mapping of changes and impact assessments.
  • Applying structured methodologies and lead change management activities tools to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative.
  • Support on learning & development and communication efforts, including the design, development and delivery of training modules and communications.
  • Assess the change impacts (people/ team / location) and conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders.
  • Point of contact for local transformation project sponsors and/ or change agents, shaping and leading stakeholder engagement and relationship development.
  • Coach and assist local business and change resources in shaping and delivering their elements of programmes and their associated local business change, transformations and new ways of working.
  • Ensuring the programme/ project stays on time and within budget, in delivering to outcomes and measures expectations.
  • Reporting regularly to key stakeholders including internal teams, appointed technical partners and the client.
  • Acting as a role model that drives a One Business culture. Achieves great outcomes by striking the right balance for our people, clients, shareholders and society. Always acts with the highest integrity, caring for the safety and wellbeing of others.
  • Full compliance with all policies, legislation, regulations and procedures.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience

We’re looking for someone who is an experienced change professional who has demonstrated skills in:

  • Business, behaviour and cultural change activity planning and programme design;
  • Establishing the overall success criteria for the business change delivery, including readiness to start / readiness for change frameworks;
  • Ownership of effective change, adoption, communication and engagement
  • Stakeholder engagement and management;
  • Bringing people together to embed new ways of working;
  • Organisational change including operating models and cultivating behavioural cultural change;
  • Adoption and benefits measurement and realisation; and
  • Collaboration, communication and engagement activities
  • A bachelor’s degree in business or related field or an MBA.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in business analysis or a related field.
