Job Description

Reporting to our Chief Product Officer, we are looking for an experienced Senior Analytics Manager to join our team and play a critical role in assessing Skipify solutions, collecting and analyzing market feedback and. We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Principal Analytics and eCommerce Manager (PACM) to break new ground and help us scale our growing ecommerce business by using data-driven insights. This thought leader will generate and leverage insights based on Skipify’s unique data to lead strategic discussions with payments originators, processors, ecommerce and advertising ventures to develop recommendations that influence go to market plans and client planning processes to improve them. The PACM is a trusted market advisor to senior leaders and C-suite eCommerce leadership. The PACM works closely with industry partners to set business and risk objectives, define success metrics, and generate delivery roadmaps. The strategic and consultative digital expertise of the PACM is critical to delivering the best return on investment for our initiatives. Experience working with a major AdTech, SaaS, MarTech, Payments and Risk in a strategic leadership role as a change agent working on communications planning will help this individual work more effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Support Credit/Debit/Gift/Loyalty Cards, ACH other third-party payment programs with strategic analytics

  • Be a champion of data driven decision making and teach stakeholders to act on recommendations based on this approach.

  • Collaborate with key cross-functional partners to uncover and explain the drivers of business performance

    • Identify opportunities to optimize and grow payment programs

    • Synthesize complex data analytics into easily understood concepts and create data visualizations and dashboards that will be shared at all levels of management

  • Manage the development and maintenance of dashboards pertaining to payments

  • Run forecast/post-analysis for payments and transactional risk specific initiatives - business intelligence, data analytics, and/or insights experience

  • Manage/conduct post-promo analysis for payments-specific programs

  • Run deep dives as needed - lead growth initiatives to drive the business forward

  • Collaborate with PDM/IT to ensure data integrity

  • Financial - funding instrument specific

    • Manage business P&L reporting, reconciliation with accounting

    • Forecast Credit/Debit/Gift/Loyalty Cards, ACH other third-party payment performance

    • Manage/report/develop Credit/Debit/Gift/Loyalty Cards, ACH other third-party payment value store goals

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years relevant experience with 4+ years in retail with analytics in multi-channel marketing

  • BA/BS required, MBA is preferred

  • Working knowledge of Display, Paid Social, and / or payment/risk channels as well as full funnel KPIs

  • Proficient programming skills, including SAS, SQL, Python, R, etc.

  • 3+ years experience using an enterprise-level digital analytics platform (e.g. Adobe Analytics, Shopify, Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager, DSPs, LiveRamp, etc.)

  • Reporting and Analysis; understanding of SQL

  • Working knowledge of rules-based last click attribution, test vs. control, and algorithmic multi-touch attribution

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with ability to present and translate complex information to both executive and technical partners while staying focused on our business goals

  • Excellent track record at building relationships and partnering with internal clients on complex business problems to develop actionable recommendations.

  • Preference will be given to candidates that also understand Big Data technology and how to leverage the platform to blend data from multiple data sources to help answer key business questions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience delivering client facing reports and presenting strategic recommendations that drive step change in a consultancy role.

  • Experience challenging ecommerce leaders to think differently.

  • MBA or Master’s degree in Economics, Marketing, Statistics, Risk, Advertising, or Business/Digital media planning experience.

  • Experience in performance commerce in a role where you managed significant complexity and scaling challenges.

  • Experience with predictive analytics, experimental design, A/B testing.

  • Presentation track record (ex. presented a data-driven narrative at an industry conference).

  • Experience in campaign management and set up.
