Quality Engineer

TRC Professional Solutions seeks a Quality Engineer/Problems Solver for a full time role with a leading automotive supplier in Acworth, GA. MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Establish a World Class Quick Response Concern Management Process Gain insight into the Root Causes of the gaps between current- and desired performance. Followed by proposing, plan and track Continuous Improvement Projects; Select and apply a wide range of problem solving tools and methods to make data based decisions to sustain higher levels of process or product quality; Lead problem solving activities planning; Support DMAIC / FOCUS projects and activities as well as facilitate workshops; Train (by doing, coaching and certifying) employees to sustainable problem solving techniques; Coaching and mentoring of employees in quality methods and tools.EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Minimum 4 year Bachelor Degree 2-5 years experience in automotive quality 2 years minimum inspection layout experience 2-5 years of supervisory experience preferred Six - Sigma, Shainin or equivalent problem solving CertificateSubmit resume to for consideration
