- Design, develop, test, and supervise the manufacturing of electrical and electronic equipment, including broadcast and communications systems, electric motors, machinery controls, lighting, and wiring in buildings, automobiles, aircraft, radar and navigation systems, and transmission devices used by electric utilities. Electrical and electronics engineers work closely with computers
- Specialize in different areas such as power generation, transmission, distribution, communications, and electrical equipment manufacturing
- Design new products, write performance requirements, and develop maintenance schedules
- Test equipment, solve operating problems, and estimate the time and cost of engineering projects
- Work alongside and support government engineers in the design and development of automated RF test set architectures, produce engineering documentation, and technical data defining automated test set software and hardware configuration (TDP)
- Develop a test set verification plan, lead the development of calibration support, and provide technical mentorship to junior engineers
- Design multi-functional test station capable of energizing and testing, electrical parameters, digital controls, and RF capable devices
- Using software interface, automate test station to collect design specification data
- Document testing process to ensure sustainability and compliance
- 5 years of professional experience
- Knowledge shall include experience with Vector Network Analyzers, RF amplifier testing, RF test fixture, and switch matrix development
- Experience MATLAB and object-oriented programming is required.
- Must be a US Citizen
- An Active Secret Clearance is required or be able to obtain and maintain a government-issued security clearance of secret or higher, interim may be required before starting
- Bachelor's level degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering
