Senior Logistics Management Specialist to support our Crane, IN customer who will identify all actions and required information related to the requirements, development, and execution of the Life Cycle Logistics processes; and material fielding support to projects and products. This logistician will integrate the spectrum of the logistics processes within the operational, acquisition, and wholesale environments. They are responsible for directing the integrated logistics process, developing support policies, procedures, and systems, and providing implementation guidance. They will provision documentation aligned with customer-provided standards. While participating in customer reviews, validations, and/or verifications. Responsibilities to include but not limited to- Developing superior logistics databases in accordance with MIL-STD-1388-2b or GEIA-0007, customer-provided instructions, and corporate policies and processes.
- Develop and maintain logistics databases systems using software such as MS Access, PowerLOG-J, SLICwave.
- Assisting in building an acquisition Logistics Product Database (LPD), using existing engineering drawings for customer.
- Assisting in challenging Logistics Supportability Planning and Procedures for customer.
- Managing multiple deadlines and priorities within specified timeframes.
- Experience working with engineering drawings, Engineering Change Proposals (ECP)
- Experience with or knowledge of MIL-STD-1388-2b, GEIA-0007 and associated documentation outputs
- Experience using PowerLOG-J, SLICwave, or similar logistics relational databases
- Experience creating and updating Technical Manuals
- Packaging requirements experience
- Level III Life Cycle Logistics DAWIA Certification preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project, and Power Point required.
