Carpenter

Position Overview:

Puget Sound area commercial general contractor is hiring an experienced and motivated Carpenter for a high-end multifamily project in Cle Elum. Our company is an established north-end contractor with repeat customers in multifamily, industrial and commercial markets across the Pacific Northwest. We are seeking experienced and self-motivated individuals to add to our successful team. Our customers are repeat clients with expansion/ growth plans across the Pacific Northwest.

Required Qualifications:

3 years commercial construction experience (field experience)

Able to read blueprints and knowledgeable in construction methods

Able to perform physical carpentry tasks including hanging doors, assemble/install bathroom accessories, acoustical ceiling, framing/blocking, and rubber bases.

Able to perform general physical tasks common to carpentry position (lifting items up to 100 pounds, kneeling, bending, standing, climbing, repetitive motion, use of hand tools, etc.)

Possess valid Driver’s License, good driving history and dependable transportation

Able to work nights and weekends and out of town / state

Demonstrated history of working safely and adhering to safety standards

Preferred qualifications:

Experience completing work in occupied environments

Experience with retail, restaurant, medical and office

Demonstrated leadership abilities

Ability to deal with unforeseen challenges and variety of personality types

High-level of customer service
