Job DetailsThe Data Engineer Lead contributes to our mission of revolutionizing the way we commemorate life's moments by connecting people to beautifully designed floral experiences and the responsible partners who create them by being a key member of the data management team. You will be working closely with our software engineering and analytics team in designing and implementing our data warehousing solution. You will be working in a multi-cloud environment that is funneling data from multiple sources into our data warehouse. You will be given the opportunity to put your knowledge and experience to work as you help employ the best designs to handle the ingestion and storage of our production data. In addition, you'll be in an authoritative role of expanding our data warehouse that will empower our business units to make critical decisions that will impact our future growth. Responsibilities (included but not limited to!): You will be responsible for maintaining our current Snowflake data warehouse as well as helping to revamp our data structure with our ever-increasing complex and modern systems. You will be working closely with other engineers and our business partners on ensuring that we're capturing all requested data into our data warehouse. You will be advising us with redesigning the data structure as our company expands into new business opportunities.AND MORE!Qualifications (including but not limited to!): 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role. 4+ years of experience with data warehouse technical architectures, ETL/ELT, reporting/analytic tools, and scripting. 3+ years of data modeling experience and proficiency in writing complex SQL with MySQL. Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL.
