Assembler

FULL-TIME

$18/hr

Assembler is responsible for fabricating component parts or assembling the finished product

according to the customer specifications. Works under immediate supervision; relies on specific

direction and instructions.

Principal duties and responsibilities:

· Securing and maintaining correct component parts and supplies required for the operation.

· Completing work area set up.

· Fitting parts together in accordance with prescribed instructions and in accordance with quality standards.

· Operating hand tools as required to complete assembly process.

· Stacking completed products in accordance with established procedures, and if required, may cover, label, and band components/finished product.

· Ensuring work area is safe, clean and organized, and that equipment is safe to operate.

· Completing pre-shift/startup equipment inspection checklist and reports any problems or concerns.

· Maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.

· Maintaining production records as required.

· Checking materials and finished products to ensure they are compliant with standards.

· Performing duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards.

· Participates in safety, CI and other programs and meetings.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

Schedule

Shift start: 6:00AM
Shift length: 8 hours
Monday-Friday, some overtime and Saturdays

Qualifications
  • Must pass drug screen
  • Can lift 30 lbs
  • Must be at least 18+ years old
At least 6 months of manufacturing and assembling experience is preferred.
