Role: Project Manager - (GxP) Disaster RecoveryLocation: Fremont, CAType: ContractLength: Until Dec 31 2021 + long term
  • Familiarity with business requirements/user stories definition, documentation, roadmap planning and tracking.
  • The ability to effectively translate requirements into roadmap and scaled process workflows.
  • Ability to provide communication updates to stakeholders regarding status, progress and open issues.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional and cross-technical teams to effectively define framework and processes.
  • Manage one or more work streams on a major program for our Pharmaceutical Development and Manufacturing (PDM) group.
  • Create appropriate project plans and work schedules to meet business objectives and priorities.
  • Provide an ongoing assessment and management of project risks and determine actions necessary to mitigate risks.
  • Provide regular project plan updates and status reporting on financial and delivery progress, including weekly executive dashboards.
  • Ensure that project delivery is on-time and within budget; identifying, tracking, reporting, and escalating issues as appropriate.
  • Coordinate the delivery of training with business systems users and IT.
  • Facilitate post implementation project reviews and the incorporation of lessons learned back into principles, policies, practices and the in-house knowledge base.
  • Candidate should have 7+ years of PM work experience, 2 in the pharma industry.
  • Experience with infrastructure projects.
  • Candidate should have knowledge of IT systems, technical skills, and communication skills.
  • GxP knowledge preferred.

Deliverables:
  • Work with IT & Laboratory Information Systems SMEs in development of the Information Security Incident Response Documentation
  • Support disaster recovery migration efforts to new IT DR technology (Zerto for on-premise and Cloud Endure for cloud environment)
  • Collaborate with IT backup team to implement Bare Metal Recovery for Lab Computer vulnerability remediation process.
  • Develop, maintain and manage PDM Lab computer Lifecycle Documentation
